Siapakah dirimu… sebelum ada nama, jabatan, atau cerita? Zen Master Linji menyebutnya: “The True Person of No Rank.” Bukan identitas baru. Tapi kebebasan yang tak pernah hilang.
Who are you… before there was a name, a title, or a story? Zen Master Linji called it: “The True Person of No Rank.” Not a new identity, but a freedom that was never lost.
在名字、头衔或故事出现之前 — 你是谁?
禅师临济称之为: “无位真人。
不是一种新的身份, 而是一种从未失去的自由。

Linji berkata kepada muridnya: “Saat ini juga, siapa orang sejati tanpa peringkat yang datang dan pergi lewat wajahmu?” Pertanyaan ini bukan minta jawaban, tapi kesadaran.
Linji said to his disciple: “Right now-who is the true person of no rank who comes and goes through your face?” This question is not asking for an answer, but for awareness.
临济对他的弟子说道: “就在此时 — 那个无位真人,
借由你的面孔来去的人, 是谁?” 这个问题不是在寻求答案,
而是在唤醒觉知。

la tidak menanyakan nama, gelar, atau peran sosialmu. la menunjuk pada sesuatu yang lebih dalam: kodrat asli sebelum pujian dan celaan. Jati diri sejati tidak bisa dipoles -hanya disadari.
He was not asking for your name, your title, or your social role. He was pointing to something deeper. your original nature before praise and blame. The true self cannot be polished -only realized.
他并非在询问你的名字、头衔, 或社会角色。
他所指向的是更深的东西: 在赞美与责难之前的本来面目。
真正的自我无法被修饰 — 只能被觉知。

Orang ini bukan dicapai dengan jadi lebih. Tapi ditemukan ketika semua label dilepaskan. Semakin kita berhenti mencari, semakin jelas siapa yang melihat.
This person is not reached by becoming more. It is discovered when all labels are released. The more we stop searching, the clearer it becomes who is seeing.
这个人并不是通过 “变得更多” 而达到的。
而是在放下所有标签时被发现的。
越是停止追寻, 越能看清是谁在观看。

Kamu tidak perlu jadi “spiritual.” Kamu hanya perlu berhenti pura-pura jadi sesuatu. Kebebasan bukan hasil latihan -ia muncul saat sandiwara berhenti.
You don’t need to become “spiritual.” You only need to stop pretending to be something. Freedom is not the result of practice -it appears when the performance ends.
你不必去 “变得灵性”。你只需要停止假装成某种样子。
自由不是修炼的结果 — 当一切表演停止时, 它自然显现。

Linji tidak sedang berfilsafat. la sedang mengguncang kita agar terbangun. Pencerahan bukan pemikiran baru, tapi berhentinya semua keharusan untuk jadi seseorang.
Linji was not philosophizing. He was shaking us awake. Enlightenment is not a new thought, but the ending of all necessity to be someone.
临济并不是在进行哲学思辨。他是在震醒我们。
觉悟不是一种新的思想, 而是一切 “必须成为某个人” 的终止。

Mungkin dunia butuh lebih banyak “orang tanpa peringkat”: yang hadir tanpa motif, berbuat tanpa pamrih, hidup tanpa topeng. Dalam kesederhanaan, kita menemukan yang abadi.
Let go of titles. Let go of image-making. In this breath, in this awareness -there stands the true person of no rank. Names may fade. But awareness remains.
放下头衔。放下形象与包装。
就在这一息, 就在这份觉知之中
无位真人安然站立。名字可以消失, 但觉知始终存在。

Lepaskan gelar. Lepaskan pencitraan. Di napas ini,di kesadaran ini -di sanalah orang sejati tanpa peringkat berdiri. Nama bisa hilang. Tapi kesadaran tetap ada.
Other religions appear to be “on the rise” not because their teachings are more correct… but because they are more present as living communities.
其他宗教看起来正在 “兴起”, 并不是因为它们的教义更正确·
而是因为它们更真实地存在为一个有生命的共同体。
