India di masa Asoka dan Sri Lanka tidak terikat sebagai penjajah-koloni. Mereka terhubung sebagai mitra setara, bersatu oleh nilai kebajikan dan Dhamma.
India in the time of Asoka and Sri Lanka were not bound as colonizer and colony. They were connected as equal partners, united by the values of virtue and the Dhamma.
阿育王时代的印度与斯里兰卡并非殖民者与被殖民者的关系。
他们以平等的伙伴关系相连, 以德行与佛法的价值而团结。

Di Sri Lanka, banyak perempuan ingin menjalani hidup monastik. Masalahnya sederhana tapi krusial: Penahbisan Bhikkhunī hanya bisa dilakukan oleh Bhikkhunī. Dan… belum ada Bhikkhunī di sana. Buntu. Tidak bisa dipercepat. Tidak bisa dilanggar.
In Sri Lanka, many women wished to live the monastic life. The problem was simple yet crucial: Bhikkhunī ordination can only be performed by Bhikkhunīs. And… there were no Bhikkhunis there yet. A deadlock. It could not be rushed. It could not be violated.
在斯里兰卡, 许多女性渴望过出家修行的生活。
问题看似简单, 却至关重要: 比丘尼的授戒只能由比丘尼完成。
然而 …… 当地尚未有比丘尼存在。陷入僵局。不能加速。也不能违越。

Permintaan sampai ke ibu kota India. Kaisar Asoka paham ini penting bagi Dhamma. Tapi ini bukan soal politik. Ini soal melepaskan anak perempuan ke misi berbahaya lintas laut.
The request reached the capital of India. Emperor Asoka understood its importance for the Dhamma. But this was not a matter of politics. It was about letting his daughter go on a dangerous mission across the sea.
请求传到了印度的首都。阿育王深知这对佛法至关重要。
但这并非政治问题。而是关于是否放手
让自己的女儿踏上海上危险使命的抉择。

Tanpa tekanan. Tanpa drama. Sanghamittā Mahātherī berkata: “Aku akan pergi sekarang.” Bukan perintah negara. Bukan ambisi pribadi. Hanya tanggung jawab moral pada Dhamma.
Without pressure. Without drama. Sanghamittā Mahātherī said: “I will go now.” Not a command of the state. Not personal ambition. Only a moral responsibility to the Dhamma.
没有压力, 没有戏剧化的铺陈。僧伽密多长老尼说道: “我现在就出发.”
这不是国家的命令。也不是个人的野心。只是对佛法的道德责任。

Di pelabuhan Jambukola Pattana, Sri Lanka, Sanghamittā tiba membawa bibit pohon Bodhi (bibit dari pohon tempat Buddha tercerahkan). la bukan hanya datang sebagai guru, tapi sebagai fondasi hidup bagi komunitas Bhikkhunī.
At the port of Jambukola Pattana, Sri Lanka, Sanghamittā arrived carrying a Bodhi tree sapling (a sapling from the tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment). She came not only as a teacher, but as a living foundation for the Bhikkhunī community.
在斯里兰卡的瞻布拘罗港, 僧伽密多长老尼携带菩提树幼苗抵达
(源自佛陀证悟之树的枝苗)。她不仅以导师的身份到来,
更作为比丘尼团体的活生生根基而来。

Sejak saat itu:
· Bhikkhunī Sāsana berdiri dan bertahan berabad-abad
· Buddhisme menyebar tanpa kekerasan
· Kepemimpinan perempuan diakui secara sah & bermartabat
Ini bukan simbol kosong. Ini arsitektur peradaban.
From that moment on: The Bhikkhunī Sāsana was established and endured for centuries, Buddhism spread without violence, Women’s leadership was recognized as legitimate and dignified. This is not an empty symbol. This is the architecture of civilization.
自那一刻起: 比丘尼教团得以建立, 并延续了数百年,
佛教以非暴力的方式传播, 女性的领导地位获得了正当而
庄严的承认, 这不是空洞的象征。这是文明的架构。
